We the people have a right to be heard! The People of Pueblo have a right to hear the comments we make!
(This comment came from a man’s protest sign at the recent Pueblo Freedom Rally to protest the removal of televised public comment at Pueblo City Council meetings. He was able to sum things up in a single sign.)

The mission of Pueblo Citizens for Open government is to simply restore the televised public forum at the regular Pueblo City Council meetings.  Our group is made up of average Pueblo citizens who do not agree with this heavy handed approach that has been handed down to the citizens of Pueblo. 

We believe that the citizens of Pueblo have a right to address the city council during the regular televised meetings. 

Our tax dollars pay to televise these meetings every week and we want our time to speak. 

Very simply put: We want things back the way they were!
