Is Someone Getting ‘Nervous’?
Burglaries abound.
Seems someone might be getting a teensy bit nervous about this election fraud business and our part in reporting it to the proper authorities.
All those ‘original signature’ affidavits reporting irregularities in how the vote was conducted would be difficult to replace in the short time remaining before the 2006 General Election in Pueblo County is supposed be ‘certified’; tick-tock the vote is locked, nobody can ‘complain’. That, according to state law, is to occur on 27 November 2006.
Last night, someone burglarized a family member. These people had never had the buildings on their property broken into in the 56 years that they’ve lived in Pueblo.
Why now?
Something to do with a report that the original signature affidavits are secured someplace off-site from THIS place?
Who knew that? I can think of a couple of people…..one of whom I talked to shortly after the Wednesday night meeting, last week. Just enough time for them to go someplace and talk with someone else. He asked, specially, where affidavits were. I told him, in a safe place.
This is beginning to sound like a really great plot line for our version of The Great American Novel.
I should start keeping notes….as if I weren’t already.

Here’s Another Aspect
A new affidavit indictes another ‘possibility’.
We keep getting affidavits in.
They keep getting scanned, stored, printed, e-mailed and secured.
A new and interesting item. One affidavit reports that the individual got an absentee ballot. However, they say they NEVER requested one.
I wonder if Absentee Ballot envelopes are checked to see if the signature on the envelope matches the one on file…..and what might this have to do with the report of those 7000 absentee ballots requested and sent out on the last day such ballots could be mailed?
“Curiouser and curiouser,” said Alice.
Anyone else know of someone who got an absentee ballot in the mail and doesn’t remember requesting one should, please, contact us immediately. Just hit the CONTACT button towards the top of the page, under the banner.

Deposit Your Affidavits HERE
Where to bring the signed and sealed documents.
We’ve collected a number of affidavits regarding possible malfeasance and improprieties relating to the management of the 2006 General Election.
If you have an affidavit, i.e., a signed and notorized complaint of what you perceive to have been wrong-doing during the course of the election here in Pueblo County, please hand-deliver it to 425 W. 18th Street.
The document will be scanned into a PDF format and then secured in a safe deposit box to which we, and several other people whose names will remain secret, have access. This is a security measure against something ‘unfortunate’ happening.
When the time comes, the original signature documents will be turned over to the proper authorities.
If you have questions regarding what you observed or need a notary public to witness and seal the document you are preparing, please contact me via the CONTACT button towards the top of this page; just under the banner.

Looking for a Few Good Citizens
Affidavits requested.
The indications that something strange, possibly illegal, occured during the course of the 2006 General Election in Pueblo County, are growing stronger.
If you noticed anything unusual taking place during the run-up to and including the election, we’d appreciate hearing from you.
Some of the things you may have noticed would include, but not be limited to, the following:
[1] People going door-to-door handling BOTH Voter Registration forms AND Absentee Ballots, asking people to fill out both and give them back to them for return.
[2] People going door-to-door with Absentee Ballots and Applications for Absentee Ballots, asking people to fill out both and give them back to them for return.
[3] People going door-to-door with Absentee Ballots, asking people to fill them out and return them while stressing the importance of voting a particular way during the election.
[4] People going door-to-door with voter registration forms within 30 days prior to the election.
[5] People going door-to-door with Absentee Ballots Envelopes, asking people to sign the envelopes and return them without putting a completed ballot in them AND sealing the envelope.
[6] If you were an election official, e.g., Poll Watcher or Judge or Counter, and you were denied access to an area of the election that you thought was somewhere you should have been able to go. Even if it was just a few minutes.
All of these are violations of Colorado voting laws and/or election procedures In fact, some of them may be felonies. Some of them may be violations of Federal law.
If you know of any such activities, it is your duty, as a citizen of this great land to step forward and report them. It is the only way to preserve our freedom to choose our government.
[Note: If you doubt this, or if you are happy with the outcome of THIS election, wait until the other party starts doing the same sort of thing. If it’s wrong for the other guys to do such, it’s wrong if anyone does it.]
We need you to report these things NOW. Why? Well, because by state law, the election must be certified by 27 November 2006. Certification comes county-by-county. Unless an injunction or other legal action is taken to require a more thorough investigation of what happened in the election the vote in Pueblo will be certified and after that nothing can be done to investigate.
So, if you have seen anything like the activities described (above), or you know someone who has, please….PLEASE, hit the CONTACT button towards the top of this window, under the banner and we’ll get in touch with you.

Was This Election ‘Stolen’?
Interesting reports are surfacing about the Pueblo County races this General Election.
The radio has been reporting that there may have been some interesting ‘irregularities’ in the balloting of some county races in the General Election, last Tuesday.
I’m not certain of the details at this time, but I think it is an important matter. Certainly worthy of further study. And, if a number of people come forward to file official complaints, worthy of formal investigation.
More to follow.

Chieftain, My Chieftain VI
Why does the Pueblo Chieftain think the Democrats are not going to “Cut and Run” in Iraq?
The other day the Pueblo Chieftain published an article on how it was told, by the Democrats, that they thought last Tuesday’s election was….
....not a mandate for the U.S. to immediately withdraw from Iraq….
And it makes me wonder what sort of gullibility is going on in their offices.
This is especially true in light of the fact that on the same day it was reported that a number of Democrats from the new Congress were meeting with former presidential candidate George McGovern on how HE would deal with Iraq. McGovern, for those too young to remember, was the Democrat’s standard bearer for a rout from Viet Nam. His mentality of ‘cut and run’ has not diminished in the ensuing 30+ years. He’s even published a book on the matter.
They must have liked what they heard, because they’ve apparently invited him to speak again before their Congress.
Combine this with the revelation about the Baker Commission on Iraq and you get a pretty good idea of what they have in mind.
So, I ask….how is it that the Pueblo Chieftain is missing all these, as we would call them in the military, ‘indicators’?
I look forward to their explanation in a few short months.
UPDATE: No Sooner Said, Than…. [121325T Nov 06]: Here’s ANOTHER indicator.

The Honor Farm Project — Part 3
Additional thoughts on pretty pictures at the Public Forum.
As I recall hearing about it, some time back, e.g., the 2030 Long Range Transportation Plan, the idea of putting a road across the Honor Farm was about THAT….putting a road across the Honor Farm.
There were several options being considered. They were as follows:
[1] A route along the southern boundary of the Honor Farm.
[2] A route along the northern boundary of the Honor Farm.
[3] A route that ran through the Honor Farm and terminated at 24th Street.
[4] A route that ran through the Honor Farm and terminated at 29th Street.
I find it ‘interesting’ that only option 3, was offered by the group that presented the other evening. There were no options offered that dealt with any of the other possibliities.
However, more interesting was the fact that the focus of the evening was over how the Honor Farm was supposed to be divided up for use. This part for off road vehicles. Another part for some sort of nature thingie. Etc., etc., etc.
This caused the audience to focus on the land use and not on the routing.
Looked to me like a classic example of misdirection. The purpose of which, as most misdirection goes, was to get people to agree to a plan without realizing the full import of said agreement. [Note: We saw the same thing with the public forums over the widening of I-25, a couple of years ago. Lots of eye-candy and pie-in-the-sky ideas. But not much on the discussion of alternative plans or the benefits/consequences of adopting the proffered plans.]
Fortunately, some people there were determined to have alternate routes addressed. Not just how the cake would be divided.
We’ll see more about this. I’m certain of that.

Pueblo Pandemic Planning
Thoughts on Pueblo’s preparations for the arrival of some horrific ailment.
Today, the Pueblo Chieftain has an interesting article on how the Pueblo City County Health Department (PCCHD) is planning to cope with any sort of serious disease coming through the area.
I used to attend these planning meetings. But, ever since I wanted to bring these discussions out into the public venue, it seems that I have not been informed of when and where such meetings are being held.
So, all I have to go on is what I get out of the Chieftain. And here are my thoughts on the latest communication…..

The Honor Farm Project — Part 2
We’ve got maps!
This part of the discussion of the proposed ‘Honor Farm Project’ will deal with the maps of the turf that is involved and the three alternatives that the City-County governments are offering for the idea of building a road network across the Honor Farm connecting Pueblo West with Pueblo and points east, north, and south, i.e., I-25.
As I’ve said before, there is a need to alleviate the growing burden of traffic on US Higway 50. However, as I’ve also said, there is a need to do it wisely. So, today, I’ll point out the general map and the three options proffered by our government.
The overall map of the area impacted and how it is situated with respect to the areas of interest can be found HERE. This map will put you in the proverbial ‘ball park’. Or probably moto-cross park.
The three alternatives for putting a road through this area are located HERE.
I highly recommend you look over these sites. Drag the images to your desktop and examine them, looking for things you like and things you have concerns about.
We’ll address such matters over the next few days, but enough for the time being.

The Honor Farm Project — Part 1
Initial thoughts on the Honor Farm Project to build a road across that area.
Last Thursday evening, there was a meeting hosted by an organization that I am unfamiliar with, but the topic of the meeting I am rather familiar with; a road through the Honor Farm to the west of Pueblo’s Northside; connecting Pueblo West with Pueblo, and points east, north and south, i.e., I-25.
There were three plans, along with tea and cookies, presented to the public at this forum.
None of the plans impressed me much. Indeed, two of them gave me cause for grave concern for OHNO. The third plan, offered as Option “B” was, actually, the obligatory “No Change” option. In other words, there would be no road across or around the Honor Farm connecting Pueblo West to Pueblo. I say “obligatory” as that is always one of the options that, from a governmental perspective, must be presented.
I was disappointed that some options that I know have been kicked around in certain circles were NOT presented. More on that idea at a latter date.
The point here is that both Options “A” and Option “C” were not very different from each other with respect to where the proposed road connections were being made on the east side of the Honor Farm territory. In both options proffered by this agency, the connection was made a 24th Street as it intersected with Pueblo Boulevard.
I could turn this into an essay. Buy I’d rather not bore most readers to tears. Therefore, I’m going to tear [Note: Interesting aspect of the English language that, tear as in ‘tear drop’ and tear as in disassembling something. How apropos….] this into various pieces so we can examine each of them closely.
Today’s aspect will be the two options proffered by this group. The next installment will deal with the options that were NOT offered. After that we’ll get into why they might not have been offered. And from there….who knows…..
OHNO Bi-Monthly General Meeting
The New Schedule….
....of meetings calls for OHNO to meet every other month.
November 7, 2006, will be the first such meeting.
We’ll be meeting at Temple Emanuel, in their fellowship hall, starting at 6:30 pm.
The primary presentation will be from the Pueblo Police Department’s Gang Unit. Their topic will be about the resurgance of gang activity in Pueblo and what we can do about it here in OHNO.
Looking forward to seeing all you OHNO members there.
And don’t forget….Get out there and VOTE!
