The Honor Farm Project — Part 2
We’ve got maps!
This part of the discussion of the proposed ‘Honor Farm Project’ will deal with the maps of the turf that is involved and the three alternatives that the City-County governments are offering for the idea of building a road network across the Honor Farm connecting Pueblo West with Pueblo and points east, north, and south, i.e., I-25.
As I’ve said before, there is a need to alleviate the growing burden of traffic on US Higway 50. However, as I’ve also said, there is a need to do it wisely. So, today, I’ll point out the general map and the three options proffered by our government.
The overall map of the area impacted and how it is situated with respect to the areas of interest can be found HERE. This map will put you in the proverbial ‘ball park’. Or probably moto-cross park.
The three alternatives for putting a road through this area are located HERE.
I highly recommend you look over these sites. Drag the images to your desktop and examine them, looking for things you like and things you have concerns about.
We’ll address such matters over the next few days, but enough for the time being.
